Voice-over

Voice-over, different and less demanding than dubbing, is the practice of reading a text independent from criteria such as lip-sync or time.

It does not require acting, although the actor may need to make slight performances or emphasize phrases if necessary. Examples to this are off-screen dubbing in an ad, a documentary narration, voice-over in a promotion film or audible book readings.
